Rajasthan Knowledge Corporation Limited - Jaipur
Rajasthan Knowledge Corporation Limited (RKCL) has recently been established by the Government of Rajasthan. Rajasthan is poised for rapid growth in IT Sector. The state is having acute shortage of IT personnel as present.
RKCL aims at developing an institutional mechanism which would spread digital literacy through IT education. Towards this aim a course called Rajasthan State Certificate in Information Technology (RS-CIT) has already been approved by the State Government.

Makhanlal Chaturvedi National University of Journalism & Communication - Bhopal
Makhanlal Chaturvedi National University of Journalism & Communication is a public university located in Bhopal set up by the Act 15 of 1990 of the Madhya Pradesh Legislative Assembly. Named after Makhan Lal Chaturvedi, a renowned freedom fighter, poet and journalist, the university was formally inaugurated by Dr. Shankar Dayal Sharma, the then Vice President of India, on January 16, 1991 becoming Asia's first university dedicated to the field of journalism and communication (which includes information technology and computer science). Unlike most universities, this University does not have a limited territorial jurisdiction. Nor is it an open university. The Vice President of India is the Visitor to the University. It is the best institute of journalism.

Jai Narayan Vyas University - Jodhpur
Dr. S. Radhakrishnan, the President of India inaugurated the University of Jodhpur on 24th August, 1962. Guru Jambheshwar University of Science & Technology - Hisar
The Guru Jambheshwar University of Science & Technology, Hisar, was established on October 20, 1995 by an Act of the Legislature of the State of Haryana with the objectives to facilitate and promote studies and research in emerging areas of higher education with focus on new frontiers of technology, pharmacy, environmental studies, non-conventional energy sources and management studies and also to achieve excellence in these and connected fields. It was formally inaugurated on November 1, 1995. It is named after Guru Jambheshwar Ji Maharaj, a saint environmentalist of 15th century. Keeping in view the nature of courses offered at the university and the mandate for which it had been established the name of the university has been changed as Guru Jambheshwar university of Science & Technology.
The Directorate of Distance Education of this University was established in 1997 by introducing four different programmes namely MBA, PGDCA, BBA, CIC. Since then a lot of head-way has been made in terms of number of programmes, number of students enrolled, number of study centres, production of quality self instructional study material (SIM) etc. Not only the new courses were added, but some of the courses were replaced by the new ones so as to make them highly job-oriented and enable the students to pursue them while being in Jobs and self employment. At present 14 under-graduate and postgraduate programmes are being conducted and the learning is imparted in two different modes, including directly by the directorate and through the study centres. From this session, three new courses i.e. P. G. Diploma in Counseling and Behaviour Modificaton, P. G. Diploma in Industrial Safety Management and Bachelor of Fashion Studies are being started.
